What is modern portraiture?

Portraiture is simply the art of creating portraits. Modern portraiture can have a traditional look or feel to it, it can have a beauty magazine cover feel, a dreamy look, or perhaps more of a fashion feel to it. That’s the beauty of it!

What I love about portraiture  is not only creating portraits but also creating an experience for my clients that is something they’ll likely never forget. Imagine being the star of the day and receiving professional hair styling, makeup application, and up to five gorgeous wardrobe changes. Imagine having a blast while feeling beautiful and looking beautiful. Imagine sharing this experience with your best friend, your mom, grandmother, daughter, or sister!! The icing on the cake is having stunning portraits made of you that you and your loved ones will cherish. Many of my clients say to me when they view their portraits, “Is that me?!?”.  And I always say, “Yes, that is you. Look how beautiful you are!!”.
