How did you come to understand your inner beauty?

I have been through a lot in my life. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety since I was 13. I still suffer from it at times, but I always lean on God. I hear Him telling me that I was not created in the eye of man, but in His eye. He reminds me that I beautiful on the outside and the inside. He also reminds me that He did not create people alike. Everyone is unique.

All my life I struggled with seeing and understanding my beauty. It wasn’t until recently actually that I finally started seeing it. I prayed for God to change my eyes and allow me to see what He sees. This changed my view not only for myself, but the way I saw others as well. God reminded me that He created us all uniquely and wonderfully. I give Him all the praise!!

What was your experience with the photo shoot?

I was so nervous and excited about my photo shoot. When I arrived I was greeted by everyone and instantly relaxed. I absolutely loved being pampered when I got my makeup and hair done. Brandi made me so comfortable during my photo shoot. She explained every pose to me and gave me great confidence. She made me laugh a lot too. We had an absolute blasty blast!!

The shoot was such an amazing experience for me. It gave me such a boost of confidence to see myself photographed and look amazing. I was so excited when I got the call saying I was one of the ladies selected. I never thought I would be chosen, but I know I was chosen for a reason.

Any final thoughts you’d like to share to encourage others?

Ladies, remember Psalm 139:14. “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” We were all designed and created for a purpose. God was the potter and we were the clay. Be proud of who God made you to be!!
