Tell us about yourself, Jillian!
My name is Jillian-Ashley. I am a 38-year-old mother of 4 incredibly handsome boys, a “bonus mom” to many others, and a “fur momma and grandma” to many precious doodle babies! 🥰 My life has been far from simple and easy, but it has made me who I am today. I wouldn’t change a second of it.
How did you come to understand your inner beauty?
Like so many others, I spent much of my life attempting to meet other’s expectations of beauty and perfection, what other people thought what “right” and “good.” It wasn’t until I realized I was chasing an illusive, ever moving target that the truth was revealed to me. My true beauty – true authenticity, true wholeness – could only ever be found within. That is where I first stumbled upon my inner light, wisdom, guidance, and authenticity.
What parts of your story can you share to help women to understand their own beauty?
I believe the only way to discover your own beauty (and to be inspired by the beauty inside each and every person you meet) is to look deeply within. Silence the judgment, the criticism, the self doubt, and the hurtful actions of others. Listen to your soul. I promise she will indeed speak, but it’s up to you to get still enough to hear her.
Tell us about your experience with the photo shoot.
Participating in this photo shoot with Brandi was an extreme honor and a privilege that will not be forgotten. It was incredible. It was a day filled with pampering and being treated like a princess. It was a very personal and intimate setting, and Brandi works her magic to make you truly feel comfortable and at ease. This photo shoot was an unforgettable experience and the images turned out even better than I could have imagined.
