Tell us about yourself, Jennifer!
I was born and raised in PA. I moved to MS in 2005. I’m a certified interior designer and professional home stager. I founded my company, Jennuwine Design, Sophisticated Staging in 2016. Design is definitely my passion!
I decided to start another endeavor last year during one of the toughest years any of us has faced! Mississippi Santa is a non profit organization created to help bring joy to those that are struggling or in a time of need. Galatians 6:2: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
I have donated my time and energy to the March of Dimes since 2007 when I lost my son, Dakota. In 2019, I was nominated as the Chairperson for the state of MS! I was beyond honored with this responsibility, but unfortunately in May of 2020 the March of Dimes decided to withdraw from the state of MS due to the Covid outbreak. My heart was saddened but I made up my mind to put my time and energy into the helping the children in our local communities. Thankfully some dear friends and family stepped up and helped as well! In 2020 we were able to help bring smiles on 17 children’s faces on Christmas morning! After lots of prayers, this year I decided to register Mississippi Santa as a non profit organization. This is a big step and so very exciting!
We are hoping to bring smiles to a lot more little faces this year!
How did you come to understand your inner beauty?
Being Beautiful has very little to do with your outer appearance. It’s how you are as a person and how you make others feel! I knew from a young age, beauty came from within! My grandma used to always tell me, “beauty is only skin deep” and “pretty is as pretty does.” I knew if I had a kind and giving heart, a sweet spirit and a loving attitude that the true beauty would shine through!
This project is all about inspiring women to see their beauty. What parts of your story can you share to help women to understand their own beauty?
Going into high school I became very insecure about my looks. I tried to hide my insecurities but unfortunately they were there. After some years and multiple mistakes later, I found myself living in a physically and mentally abusive relationship. The small amount of confidence I had, plummeted tremendously with this abuse.
March 1, 2014 was the day I found an inner strength that I didn’t realize I possessed. By the grace of God, I left my abuser and made it out alive!

Tell us about your experience with the photo shoot.
I was so very humbled and honored to be selected! The photoshoot was incredible! Brandi is amazing and made me feel so beautiful and so comfortable the entire time! I had the absolute best time!
