Tell us about yourself, Christiana!

I am 57 years old and live in Gautier, MS. I’ve been married for 27 years and I have a stepdaughter. I was raised with two sisters and one brother by a single mom, having lost my dad at 8 years old. I have many family members and I love family gatherings and just being involved with family. I have two pet cats and I enjoy being with them as well. I’m a book lover and I love to travel. I am so fortunate to have a loving and supportive husband, whom I adore. We are just living one day at a time and looking forward to retirement and travel.

 

 

How did you come to understand your inner beauty?

As it is said, wisdom comes with age… awareness of your own beauty comes with age as well. As I get older, the more I understand that beauty comes in many different ways; inside, outside, in your eyes, in your smile, and in your heart and soul with the selfless giving of yourself every single day. My mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sisters, step-daughter, nieces, and other strong women in my life have made me realize that inner strength is part of beauty as well.

 

Tell us about your experience with the photo shoot.

In a word, the photoshoot was empowering. Brandi made me feel at ease and I had a great time. It was a much needed getaway to take the time for nurturing and self indulgence! I would recommend this experience for any woman to reaffirm her beauty inside and out.
