Jessica’s story:
It took me some time to realize that I had more self-life and blessings coming to me. Being a mother of 4, I would sometimes forget about who I was and feel I was only destined to be a mom. I had tried so many times to pursue new avenues to be something more than “just a mom”, but everything always fell through. When my youngest started kindergarten, I started working in HHS cafeteria. It was the only job that still gave me my mother roll to be there for my girls when they needed me. As my girls got older, 3 had graduated and 1 left in high school, I knew it was my time to shine. I decided I would make the big jump and start Esthetician School. At first, I was like, “That’s not going to happen.”, but in the same breath I said, ” But WHY CAN’T I!?”! I signed up for school being 41 years old. I was accepted and started in June 2022. I put in my resignation at my 9yr job and haven’t looked back. I’m about to open my very own Spa/Salon business, yes ME Jessica, lol. This is all God’s grace and will. We have walked hand and hand through this whole process letting me know this is exactly where I’m supposed to be! I now know all I was trying to make happen didn’t because it wasn’t in His timing. To all the moms out there feeling this way, trust in the Lord and follow His lead. Your time will come!
What are some of the rewarding parts of the current decade you are in?
What has been your favorite decade you have lived through and why?
I would say this decade has been overwhelming with so much greatness while walking hand and hand with the Lord. The blessing He has given me has been the most beautiful thing I have witnessed.
If given the opportunity, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t change a thing about my life because it has me where I am today.
What was your top life lesson that you’ve never forgotten and have lived by?

Oh, it was an absolute pleasure. She made me feel so beautiful and elegant. Her poise and gentleness while directing me was flawless. I’m so thankful I took the chance to work with her.
