Do you feel invisible after 50? 👇🏼

My mom told me she started feeling invisible after she turned 50.

I experienced it when I turned 50.

Why is it that the older women get, the LESS VALUABLE we become to society?

Invisible.

Ignored.

At least, that’s what it feels like. But here’s what I believe 👇🏼

Society doesn’t get to determine your value because THE LORD has already determined it.

And you are precious and worthy in his sight - no matter how old you are. 💛

In fact, I believe that the OLDER you get, the MORE you have to offer society.

Your 50+ years’ life experience and wisdom is worth sharing! Your story can inspire and encourage younger generations, your peers, and even older women.

“Those who are older should speak, for wisdom comes with age.” (Job 32:7 NLT)

“The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.” (Proverbs 16:31 NKJV)

You don’t deserve to feel invisible just because you’re over 50.

And that’s why I’m doing my “50 Over 50” photo shoot project — to celebrate fabulous, everyday women who have encouraging stories to share.

“Say that one more time!” 😍

That’s what I said to my client Yvette when she dropped this bombshell.

She told me that she had been watching my photography online for years. Many of her friends had their photos taken with me. When Yvette finally booked her own photo shoot experience, she told me it was "a dream come true!"

I was so proud of her! She had been wanting to do something special for herself for YEARS, and she finally did it. 👑

And here’s the best part – before her photo shoot, she was worried she’d feel awkward and uncomfortable, but here`s what she said afterwards:

"During the session, I felt very comfortable doing something I’m usually not comfortable with— having someone else take my photo! Brandi encouraged confidence, helped me pose without feeling awkward, and made me feel beautiful throughout."
